Continued the trend at the most recent appearance when runner-up over 1m2 1/4f at Mornington after he gave away a big start. Looks well placed so expect another big run. VINEUX (10) closed off strongly last start to get up for second, beaten a nose, over 1m3f at Ararat. Can measure up. LAST CARD LOUIE (3) is a 17-start maiden who looks close to that elusive win after finishing in the placings at the last couple of runs, most recently when second over 1m4f at Mornington. Caitlin Hollowood stays on and although yet to win has been in the money on two occasions. Has claims on his best figures. FURTHEREST POINT (2) is a two-start maiden who resumed from a lay-off last start and was beaten 4. 5 lengths when fourth over 1m2f at Seymour. Bold showing expected with added fitness this time.
