CHEROKEE BRAVE (12) turned in a nice run when fresh from a lay-off two starts back at Kyneton then missed the placings last time when 5 lengths from the winner in seventh over 1m3/4f at Sale. Rates highly and can bounce back. CLEITUS (3) started at 6/1 last time and ran below expectations, finishing ninth and beaten 7 lengths at Warrnambool over 1m1/2f. Beautifully placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. WINSTON (7) showed good early dash and raced on the speed at the first run back from a break last start before fading to finish 2.75 lengths back in fourth over 7f136yards at this track. Among the chances. MUPPET (10) has been about the mark of late. Last time out was 1.75 lengths from the winner in second over 1m1f at Caulfield Heath. Will find this easier. Not to be discounted.
