CONTROLLED ZONE (3) has accrued four minor placings from five runs this campaign. Was always up in the leading division and finished half a length from the winner in third last time out over 6f at Ballarat. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot find winning ways. LINKVUE (5) booted up from the inside draw to lead last start and was there on straightening before being claimed and finishing a long neck away in second over 6f at Yarra Valley. Expected to be in this for a long way. DENIAL (4) is back after a break of 11 months. At the last run before the layoff he finished fifth over 5½f at Caulfield. Has trialled three times leading into this. Among the chances while fresh. SEDNA (10) is a filly by Merchant Navy out of Conclusive on debut. Showed ability in a recent trial win at Geelong.
