RETENIR (10) did little and finished 6 lengths from the winner in eighth over 7f at Pakenham last start, a less impressive effort than her fifth at Sandown-Lakeside the run before. Ideally placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping. MISS BLACK DIAMOND (6) raced in town last time and missed the frame, finishing fourth at Sandown-Hillside and beaten 5 lengths. Won't find this assignment as tough. Well placed so expecting a strong run. MORNING DARLING (3) kicked off this campaign with a win two runs ago. Couldn't follow that up last time out when fourth over 5f136yards at Kyneton, beaten 0.8 lengths. Finds a suitable race and can go on to take this out. BALABUSHKA (4) won at this track two starts ago but was below his best at a more recent appearance, finishing eighth over 6½f at Ararat. Worth another chance.
