KARMA QUEEN (5) hit the frame two starts ago at Strathalbyn but ran below par last time when 11th and beaten 15 lengths over 1m at Balaklava. Nicely placed to turn things around. A TIME TO KILL (3) stepped out on his debut over 6¼f at Morphettville Parks two-and-a-half weeks ago and finished 11th, beaten 14 lengths. Should progress this time and is expected to feature. ZARUBINA (6) was allowed to drift back from an outside draw last time but found the line strongly to finish fifth, beaten 5 lengths, over 6f at Mt Gambier. Solid top-three hope. STAR SERPENT (9) resumes from a lay-off of four-and-a-half months. Could only manage to finish eighth at the latest run over 6f at Strathalbyn. Ran fourth in a recent trial at Morphettville. Nicely placed and can figure in the finish.
