Should run a bold race. PLATINO (7) ran well on debut last start to finish third over 5½f at Horsham in a tougher race. Likely improver so he should be in the finish again. GOLDFIELDS GREY (2) is a maiden galloper resuming from a lay-off after finishing seventh over 1m1f at Morphettville at the latest appearance on November 4. Fitter for two trials, placing most recently. Sure to be competitive. JEWELS CAPTAIN (3) ran below expectations last time at Naracoorte, finishing sixth and beaten 3 lengths. Well placed to turn things around.
