Bold showing expected with the blinkers added. EAGLE MOON (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a long neck from the winner in third over 6¾f at Strathalbyn after being in the firing line on the corner. Looks well placed so expect another big run. SIR AALI (6) showed early speed from an outside draw and held a forward position before fading to finish fifth, beaten 4 lengths, when returning after a lay-off last start over 6¾f at Strathalbyn. Another bold showing is expected. OLDPOP (9) is a 11-start maiden who has been in the money at his last couple of runs, the latest when second over 6f at Clare. Takes on a tougher assignment this time but is too good to overlook.
