BALISTIQUE (6) settled well back then made some inroads and finished 6 lengths away in seventh last time out over 6f at this track when resuming from a lay-off. Steps up in journey. The one to beat in this line up. ROBERT THE PUSS (4) drew wide last time and was safely held when fifth over this track and trip. Jessica Tzaferis has been in the money at all three rides, but is yet to win. Leading contender. MIDNIGHT RUSH (5) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 4 lengths when seventh in a 7f contest at Mildura two-and-a-half weeks ago after being in contention on the corner. Faces an easier assignment so he is sure to be prominent. FANTASTIC HOST (10) was beaten 4.5 lengths into sixth in a 1m contest at Murray Bridge a week-and-a-half ago. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
