MAHI MAHI (6) is yet to break through after seven career starts. Could only manage to finish fourth last time out over 6f at Balaklava following a minor placing at Balaklava over 5¼f the run prior. Big chance to break through. MONDELLO (11) stepped out for her debut over 5½f at Morphettville back on December 26 and finished fifth, beaten 8 lengths. Will improve and looks well placed. MACADI MISS (3) is a mare by Ambidexter out of Swift Encounter who is at the races for the first time. Showed plenty of ability with easy trial win. A bold showing is on the cards. ONEOFTHESENIGHTS (7) ran a better race last start, finishing 5.5 lengths away in fifth over 5½f at Port Augusta. Best efforts measure up so worth another chance.
