MAGIC FIELD (3) resumed from a lay-off last start with a sound second over 4½f at Mt Gambier after being in the firing line on the turn. Meeting a deeper field this time but he is up to the challenge. ONEOFTHESENIGHTS (9) turned in a strong performance when resuming when in the money at Murray Bridge but disappointed last time when 14th, beaten 12 lengths, at Murray Bridge over 5f. Finds a nice race and can make amends. SAKOWIN (11) led early and was still in the firing line on the turn last start before tiring to finish seventh over 5½f at Morphettville. Finds the right race and is worth consideration. SOCIAL DANCER (12) found the line nicely last start to get up for second over 6f at Port Augusta when resuming after a lay-off. Jacob Opperman goes well on this three-year-old and is back on top. Can play a role in the finish.
