Nicely placed and expected to go well. CHIEF BY (1) was in the firing line on the turn and finished third last time over 4f at Kilcoy when resuming from a lay-off, beaten 1.5 lengths. Nicely placed to go a couple better. ICHIKA (7) returns after eight months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a sixth over 6f at Newcastle. Solid top-three hope.
