TAKEMYBOURBONNEAT (2) showed good early dash when resuming last start and held on well to finish 5. 5 lengths back in third over 5½f at this track. Must raise the bar but this looks well within her grasp. MOMAXIE (5) finished third two runs back at Laurel (Dirt) then improved last time out to score by 9 lengths as public elect over 6f at this track. Goes up a rung or two but she is capable of running another bold race. SPIRIT BEAR (4) showed little early speed then came with a powerful run to finish third last time out over 6f at Woodbine All Weather. Expected to feature again. ABITIBI (6) last appeared seven weeks ago over 7f at Mountaineer Park Turf when she finished eighth. This is her first run for the Steven Cathcart stable. Well-placed and is among the chances.
