SPEEDY CONNECTION (7) was well-fancied last time out but could only manage second over 7f seven days ago. Strong run last time and is worth following up. ALZADO (3) resumes from a lay-off of nine months. Could only manage to finish sixth at the latest run over 1m1/2f at Woodbine All Weather. Nicely placed and expected to go well. MULMUR (5) returns after ten months in the paddock. Closed the last campaign with a sixth over 6½f at Fort Erie. Rates highly and is a chance to break through. SILENT MORT (6) failed to threaten when fresh from a lay-off last time out, beaten 15 lengths into seventh over 6½f at Woodbine All Weather. Should do much better.
