GIVE ME THE BOOTS (4) was in the firing line on the corner and progressed nicely last start to finish a close second over 6f at Woodbine after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Won't find this as tough so she is one of the main contenders. DREAMING OF HOPE (5) was leading on the turn and fought on to finish second over 6½f at Listed level at this track at her latest appearance. Well placed in this easier race. Among the leading chances this field. LINDA'S OPAL (3) has scored at her last two starts, most recently by half a length over 6½f at this track. That continued the good form this campaign, with three wins and three minor placings from six starts. Should be in the finish. FANNY M (1) finished 9 lengths back in fifth on all weather in a at Woodbine. Missed the frame again last time out on turf at this track over 7f two weeks ago. Generally goes well here. Can sneak into the finish.
