TOWN BRANCH (8) went fast early and went on to score by half a length last time out over 6f at this track (Dirt). This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. FLASHIN CHIP (2) had been in top form, scoring two consecutive wins before being sent out favourite last time and finishing second over 4f at this track. Expected to feature again. CREAM PUFF REAPER (5) turned in a fine effort to win by 3 lengths at this track and distance when when resuming from a break last time out. It doesn't get any easier but on her best form she is good enough to cope. SIR ANGUS (1) resumes after a break of seven months. Won on debut to launch the last campaign over 5½f at Energy Downs. One of the genuine hopes in the race.
