CARPE HORSESHOE (1) showed good early speed then led into the straight last start before fighting on to finish third, beaten 1.1 lengths, over 7f at Delta Downs (Dirt). Will go forward again and looks tough to beat. CONNECTABLE (4) is returning from a lay-off of 11 weeks. Finished fifth at Remington Park (Turf) over 7½f at the first run last prep. Now with a new trainer Stetson Rushton. Has found the right race and can take this out. MS I SPEIGHT (3) comes here off a break of four months. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 6f at Prairie Meadows. Worth plenty of thought. CRESSONS LIL CHARM (7) disappointed at her last run three-and-a-half months ago when sixth in Listed grade at Arapahoe Park (Dirt), that effort following back-to-back wins. Among the main hopes on her best figures.
