BRILLIANT COLORS (5) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he got a long way back over 6½f at Delta Downs, beaten 8 lengths into sixth. Finds a nice race and can take this out. BARBIERE (6) is a eight-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Troy A Bethke stable. Hasn't raced since finishing in the placings at Arapahoe Park (Dirt) three months ago. Not seen at the trials but has filled a minor placing four times from six runs when resuming. Expected to be in the finish. SCOOTER'S BOY (4) could only manage eighth on dirt over 5½f at Turf Paradise in a then couldn't find the top-three on turf over 1m at Turf Paradise more recently. Has a good record here at this journey with five wins and eight minor placings from 18 starts. Should be competitive. I'M CRENSHAW (3) is a six-year-old gelding who is having his first run for the Hair Gerald P Big yard. Finished off last campaign with a seventh at Remington Park (Dirt) five months ago. Not seen at the trials but looks nicely placed. Can return with a bold run.
