DAVIDA (3) settled well back from a wide draw last time then wound up strongly to finish fifth over 7f at Caulfield. Capable of overwhelming this field late in proceedings. LAURA ELIZA (14) was less than a length from the winner in second at Sale on debut before showing the benefit of that race experience when an impressive winner over 7f at Sale last start in the wet. Has plenty of upside and can measure up again. MISSAPPREHEND (8) was in the firing line on the turn and finished second last time over 6f at Sale when resuming from a lay-off, beaten a head. Meets some better types this time but she has the talent to test this line-up. SALIZOU (11) resumed over 6f at Ballarat Synthetic last start and after showing little early speed closed hard to score by a long neck. Solid top-three prospects.
