APULIA (3) settled towards the tail when resuming last start then wound up strongly to score by half a length over 7½f at Moonee Valley. Michael Dee who has scored on him two times retains the mount. Leading contender. MAJOR BEEL (5) resumed over 1m in the Big Dance Qualifier at Randwick last start when he sat close to the pace before fading in the straight to finish ninth, beaten 4. 5 lengths. Takes on tougher opposition this time but is still among the leading chances. OH TOO GOOD (6) is racing well, scoring by 1. 3 lengths in a in the G3 Ladies Day Vase at Caulfield then finishing a respectable fourth last time over 1m in the G2 Crystal Mile at Moonee Valley when not too far away. Damian Lane who has four wins when partnering stays on. Certainly one to consider. NEW ENDEAVOUR (1) was last at the races when he finished second over 1m3f in the G2 The Q22 at Eagle Farm on June 14. Looks a strong top-three prospect.
