LA FRACAS (8) is an honest type who impressed last time, scoring by 2.75 lengths over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside. Excels at this journey with an unbeaten record from four runs and should prove tough to beat. DE BERGERAC (11) turned in a modest performance when third last start over 6f at Sandown-Lakeside, beaten 5.5 lengths. That followed a good when resuming win at Sale. Finds a tougher race but another win is not out of the question. GREAT MAXIMUS (2) is racing well, scoring by a head in a at Morphettville Parks then finishing a respectable fourth last time over 7f21yards at this track when not too far away. Has an impressive strike rate at this distance with four wins from seven runs and has to be respected. EYE OF THE FIRE (3) was strongly fancied when resuming last start but was beaten 5.5 lengths into tenth over 6f at Rosehill. Generally goes well with that run under the belt. Can improve sharply here.
