SPLASH BACK (6) saluted when resuming last start at Caulfield over 6f. Form over this journey is strong, boasting two wins from three starts. Best figures should see her run well. MOLLYNICKERS (3) hasn't raced since a minor placing at Sandown-Hillside over 7f four weeks ago. Kept ticking over with a placing in a recent trial at Pakenham Synthetic. Rates highly and looks a definite winning hope. AVEBURY (5) gave a great sight last time over 7f at this track when she raced up on the pace and fought on gamely only to be narrowly beaten. This is her optimum trip with three wins from six starts and has to be respected. HEARCOMESTHESTAR (7) finished second at this track two runs back but was less effective last time over 6f at Caulfield, finishing 2 lengths back in seventh. Likely improver with top-three prospects.
