AZTEC STATE (1) turned things around last start and landed the prize by 0.8 lengths after being prominent at the corner over 1m2f at this track. Taking on a better line-up this time but he can win again. STEEL RUN (4) started favourite last time over 1m2f at this track but could manage only sixth. Drops in weight. Is going well this campaign, recording a win and a minor placing from three starts. Sure to run well. PURVEYOR (7) was prominent at the turn and ran a better race last start to finish a close second over 1m4f at Sandown-Hillside after missing the placings at the previous appearance. Needs to be at his best to beat this field but he is good enough to play a major role. ELIUD (2) started at 7/2 last time but could only manage fifth, beaten 5 lengths, at this track over 1m2f. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Don't underestimate.
