NIANCE (7) is a talented galloper who is unbeaten in two runs this time in, the latest at Sandown-Lakeside over 6f. Comfortable winner last time and can measure up again. LITTLE MISS KUBI (1) finished fifth when when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at this track after racing on the pace for much of the way. Well placed and should be tough to rein in. RIVER NOIRE (4) finished 0.7 lengths from the winner in fourth last start over 6f at Caulfield, an improvement on her when resuming fifth at Pakenham the run before. Won't find this as tough so she is set to turn things around. DAZZLING LUCY (2) didn't make an impact at her last run before going for a lay-off on October 28 finishing fifth and beaten 4 lengths over 1m in the G3 Tesio Stakes at Moonee Valley. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race.
