Multiple Group 3 winner AYRTON (5) scored by a nose in a in the LR John Dillon Stakes (Ex Barton) at Caulfield then missed the frame latest when fifth in the G1 CF Orr Stakes at Caulfield. Gets some weight relief this time. Jamie Kah who has scored on him five times retains the mount. Should be in the finish. Group 2 winner BERKELEY SQUARE (11) finished 3 lengths away in fifth last time out over 7f at this track when resuming from a lay-off. Steps up in journey. Backmarker who keeps coming. Will be tough to stop. Group 2 placegetter MAKRAM (8) was too good when resuming in an easier race over 7f in the LR VRC March Stakes at this track last start, scoring by half a length. Fitter for that last hitout and this looks well within his grasp. Group 3 placegetter HOLYMANZ (9) has switched yards since finishing fourth five weeks ago over 1m at Ellerslie.
