SHELLAC (6) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 22 lengths when sixth in a 6½f contest at Saratoga three-and-a-half weeks ago. This is a nice drop in grade so he is one of the main contenders. PROBABLY FLATTERY (1) was responsible for a solid effort last time out when second at this track (Dirt) over 6f, beaten a nose. Cherry-ripe now. Is yet to miss the frame from three starts this campaign, including a win. Expected to feature. FIRST PITCH (4) has not been a factor of late. Two starts back was out of the money over 1m at Aqueduct. Last time he failed to complete the course at Saratoga. Certainly deserves another chance. VALIANT WARRIOR (5) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 5½f at this track, beaten 7 lengths after being prominent at the turn. Fitter so watch for a better performance.
