SHANTY SHACK (7) returned from a lay-off four weeks ago when he was beaten 17 lengths into seventh over 5½f at this track. Nicely placed to feature in the finish. KAZ PALACE (4) returns from a layoff of 11 months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last prep over 6f at Aqueduct. Looks one of the genuine hopes in the race. KINGDOM ON PAWS (1) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 5½f at this track, beaten 5 lengths into fifth. Suitably placed so can turn things around.
