PALS ALLY (1) turned in an eye-catching run over 5½f at this track (Dirt) last time, ridden back before coming home with a powerful run to finish third. Among the chances again. MADDIE'S SURPRISE (2) ran below expectations last start, finishing fifth and beaten 9 lengths at this track (Dirt) over 5f. Has a solid record at this course and distance, including two wins. Worth another chance.
