TAKEITORLEAVEIT (3) has been mightily consistent this campaign recording two victories and four second placings. Denied by 1L over 1m2f at Windsor when last seen a month ago. Looks the selection in a race with few stand-out candidates. GRAND PIER (7) put in an improved effort to finish a 0. 5L second in a soft-ground course and distance event back in June. Had a break since and can continue the upward curve. BRAVE LEADER (5) has shown something to work on since switched to handicaps this year. Blinkers now enlisted. Not written off yet. HOTEL CALIFORNIA (10) has looked limited so far but now gets her opportunity in open company.
