BERKSHIRE SMUDGE (5) can make a winning handicap debut. He ran creditably in decent novice races and the Sean Bowen booking is a major positive. Worth giving close consideration. UNCLE REMUS (4) shaped favourably when 13L third over 2m at Uttoxeter. That was a promising first start in handicaps and might show improvement. COLLANISI (8) was only beaten 1L here in a jumpers flat tackling 2m November 2024. His recent hurdle form needs to improve and is another who could progress. BOWLING SHANE (12) warrants a market check. Not provided much in three outings though did race among stronger company than this.
