WHISKEY YANKEE (2) is clearly held in high regard. Shed the maiden tag at Ascot earlier in the season then tackled the G2 Prestige Novices Hurdle at Haydock Park where he didn't jump well enough to do himself justice finishing third. Providing he delivers a clear round here he could prove far too good. LON CHANEY (1) finished behind the main selection at Haydock last month and needs to put that run well behind him. SOLDIER FOR GLORY (4) looked in need of the outing here three weeks ago. May improve for that run. MAKINBECON (3) didn't land a blow here two weeks ago and will likely be up against it.
