ANIMAL (1) has been in the doldrums for a little while and his handicap mark has slipped as a result. There were signs of a return to form when third at Fontwell last month however. Has no issue with marathon trips and a previous course winner. Looks the one to beat. SEASMOKE (3) has been going well this season before a lesser effort a fortnight ago. Entitled to bounce back here if handling trip. BROTHER BORIS (6) is another untried at this far but should come on for his return at this course last month. SPOTTY DOG (8) stays the distance and may be running on when others have cried enough under a featherweight.
