Open to plenty of improvement and he is a major player again. AQUARIUS (9) was out of the money when resuming from a lay-off last start over 7¼f at Vaal, beaten 3 lengths after being in contention on the turn. Perfectly placed and is sure to prove tough to beat. CHAMPONELLE (4) has not won for a long while. Last raced on July 3 when beaten 3 lengths into seventh at Fairview All Weather over 6f. Hard to beat in this suitable race.
