A BIT CHILLY (1) is back from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months. Raced once last campaign and finished third over 1m at this track. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Expected to be in the finish. HAT HOT HAT (6) resumed six-and-a-half weeks ago over 1m at this track and was only beaten 0.8 lengths into fifth. Fitter and sure to run well. GUARDING THE WALL (7) started at 13/2 last time and ran below expectations, finishing sixth and beaten 4 lengths at Fairview over 6f. Luyolo Mxothwa gets the best out of this four-year-old gelding. This is a nice drop in grade so he is one of the main contenders. ARIVIDICIO (12) has a moderate winning strike-rate but did a good job when returning from a break last time at this track, finishing second and only half a length from the winner at the end of 1m. Looks well placed so expect a bold display.
