ANCHOR MAN (3) was prominent from the outset when third over 7f at this track last time out. Has a high cruising speed. Will prove tough to beat. WINTER EMERALDS (4) recorded his first win when resuming last start over 6f at Fairview All Weather, getting home by 2.5 lengths. Richard Fourie was in the saddle on that occasion and retains the mount. No reason he cannot get the job done again. KING RAHUL (16) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing third and beaten only a long neck over 6½f at Fairview All Weather. Has his share of ability. Hard to beat in this suitable race. GLOBETONIC (2) produced a better run last start, beaten 0.7 lengths into fourth over 1m at Fairview All Weather. No surprise to see him in the frame.
