Meets some better types this time but he has the ability to test this field. UNION ROSE (14) ran fourth at his latest appearance over 7f at this track, clocking in 7 lengths from the winner. Leading player. WILLIAM THE FIRST (13) bounced back last start and scored by 2.25 lengths over 1m at Fairview All Weather. Stepping up a level this time but on his best form he is right in contention. BRENDEN JAMES (4) finished 4.5 lengths behind the winner in ninth place when resuming over 1m last start at this track. Generally goes well with that run under the belt. Should be much improved.
