Group 2 winner PACAYA (1) is a handy six-year-old gelding who returned from a break last start and finished a nose away in second over 1m1f at Durbanville. The one to beat. JOY AND PEACE (8) was successful last start over 1m2f at this track, getting home by 2.75 lengths to make it five wins on the bounce. Taking on a better line-up this time but she deserves plenty of thought. FAIRY KNIGHT (4) is back from a lay-off of nine weeks. Scored a good win at his only run last campaign at Fairview All Weather over 6½f. Richard Fourie is back on and has a solid record on the four-year-old, including six wins. Sure to be competitive. CHERRY ANO (2) built on a nice second two starts back at this track with success over 1m at this track seven weeks ago, getting home by a nose. Nicely placed to play a pivotal role.
