GOLDEN PACIFIC (2) has five wins and five minor placings from 10 starts this campaign. Found a couple better last start at Fairview over 6f. This is an easier assignment and she can get the job done. ESTHER (1) had been racing well with three consecutive placings before last start managing only fifth over 5f at this track. Has the gate speed to take up a forward position. Will play a major role. Group 1 placegetter RIVER QUERARESS (6) has switched yards since finishing seventh five-and-a-half weeks ago over 7¼f at Vaal. One of the genuine hopes in the race. SUMMER ODYSSEY (3) finished fourth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 6½f at this track, beaten 3 lengths. Looks to be in the right race so expect another big run.
