Leading contender. OUTBACK EXPRESS (2) was an effortless maiden winner last time out over 1m1 1/2f at this track, scoring by 4 lengths. Sure to prove tough to beat again with that win now under his belt. PANNING GOLD (3) returns from a lay-off of three-and-a-half months and is having his first run for a new yard. Finished seventh at Turffontein Standside over 1m when when resuming last time in work. Worth plenty of thought on an each-way basis. SILENT TRIGGER (9) is experiencing a long win drought, extended last start when fifth over 7f at Fairview after being prominent at the corner. Well placed and there is no reason he cannot return to winning ways.
