SMASHING (4) could only manage seventh two runs back then improved last start but found a couple better over 5f at Fairview, beaten 4. 5 lengths. The engagement of Richard Fourie is a positive move. Finds an easier assignment and can find winning form. ALEX MILLER (6) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing fourth and beaten only half a length over 7f at this track. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. GORGEOUS CAPE (7) finished out of the money two starts back then was beaten 7 lengths when eighth over 6f at Greyville All Weather six-and-a-half weeks ago. Perfectly placed and is sure to give this a mighty shake. HAPPY WIVES (3) turned things around last start and scored by 4 lengths over 6f at Fairview. Likely to be there at the finish again.
