WHITELICK ROAD (2) improved last time out, finishing half a length from the winner in second at the end of 6f at this track after being prominent at the corner. Looks well placed so expect another big run. CAROLINES HART (3) made progress last time out, finishing 2. 75 lengths from the winner in third at the end of 5½f at this track after being in the firing line on the bend. Has the ability to build on that encouraging effort last start. TOUR DE' PORT (5) is back at the races for the first time since June 14. Worth noting she filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 5f at Hawthorne. Among the better hopes.
