Will be on the speed in transit and is expected to take some running down. SAND MOUNTAIN (4) travelled in a rearwards position then made a little ground and finished 3 lengths away in fifth last time out over 5f at this track when when resuming from a lay-off. Steps up in distance. Right in this. LAYTON THE DAY (7) resumed over 5f and turned in a fair run to finish seventh at this track (Dirt). With the run under his belt the extra ground looks a plus and should do much better.
