K O AMERICAN PIE (4) started at 9/4 last time and ran below expectations, finishing fifth and beaten 2.5 lengths at this track (Dirt) over 6f after being in contention on the turn. Finds a nice race and can bounce back. RISKY SPIRIT (9) is usually thereabouts but finds it hard to win, with only one victory from 10 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when ninth over 6f at this track, beaten 28 lengths. Finds an easier assignment and can take this out. HEAVENLY SCENT (5) returned from a lay-off two weeks ago when she was prominent at the turn before being beaten 4.5 lengths into fifth over 5½f at this track. Strips fitter and can feature in the finish.
