Collected his maiden win when resuming at Turfway Park (Synthetic) then backed it up with a solid third over 1m at Turfway Park (Synthetic) at the latest outing. Should be poised just off the lead. Expecting a bold showing. SPAN (3) returned from a lay-off two-and-a-half weeks ago when he was beaten 14 lengths into seventh over 5f at Hawthorne. Strips fitter and can figure prominently. HOLCOMBE (2) returns after a lay-off of six-and-a-half months. Started the last campaign in good style when in the placings over 1m at Remington Park. Hasn't scored when fresh from a break but generally races well with three minor placings. Definite top-three chance. BEST MAN SPEECH (6) has not appeared since he finished tenth over 6f at this track (Dirt) on October 15. Has to be respected.
