TENSE (5) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a strong race last time out, finishing second and beaten only 1.3 lengths over 6f at this track (Dirt) after being in the firing line on the corner. Ademar Santos gets the best out of this five-year-old mare. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. JUST AT MIDNIGHT (4) did a great job to score by 3 lengths over this course and distance when resuming from a layoff last time out. Well placed and there is no reason she cannot repeat the dose. SHORT STRAW (8) turned in a nice effort to score two runs ago at this track. Less impressive last time out when fourth over 6f at this track, beaten 14 lengths after being in the firing line on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can get the job done. WAR COLORS (2) hasn't been able to break through for an extended period, the latest effort a fifth over 6f at this track (Dirt). Perfectly placed and is sure to take plenty of stopping.
