Should camp just off the leaders. Likely to feature. LATE BLACKSMITH (2) settled well back and never threatened when sixth over 6f at Hawthorne (Dirt) last time out. Finds a more suitable contest and can find winning form. GRAYHOP (6) was prominent at the corner and finished second last start over 6f at this track (Dirt), beaten 0.1 lengths. This looks a sterner test than last time but on his best form he is one of the key runners. TRUIST (1) has been out of the winner's list for a long time, last start finishing fourth at this track (Dirt) over 6f after being in contention on the turn. Javier Diego gets the best out of this five-year-old gelding. Placed to advantage so expect a better run this time.
