AHEADOFTHEGAME (2) lines up for the first time since August 26. Looking to emulate his win at this track when returning from a lay-off last prep. Has found the right race. BASEBALL POLITICS (1) was safely held when seventh last start over 6f at Hawthorne, beaten 14 lengths. That followed a good when resuming win at Hawthorne. Ideally placed and is sure to be there at the finish. CRANKSHAFT (4) is a consistent performer with two minor placings from three starts this prep. Turned in another good performance last start when third over 5½f at this track (Dirt) after he was always up in the leading division. Must be included on the strength of that form. YOU'RE IN COREY (3) could only manage ninth two runs back then improved last start but found one better over 5½f at this track, beaten 2.5 lengths. Likely to hold the form and is a strong top-three prospect.
