JACK VAN BERG (4) comes here off a break of five-and-a-half months. Worth noting he filled a minor placing when returning from a lay-off last time in work over 5f at Hawthorne. Expect him to play a major role. FASTNFURIOUS (5) was out of the money when resuming two runs back then again missed the frame last start when he settled well back over 5½f at this track, beaten 18 lengths into fourth. Has the class to figure prominently. FEROCITY (1) was in the money two starts back at Hawthorne but couldn't back it up last time when tenth, beaten 15 lengths, at Hawthorne (Dirt) over 5½f. Looks well placed so expect a big run this time. SOUPER FORTUNE (2) was last at the races when he finished second over 1m1/4f at this track (Dirt) on November 4. Has to be respected.
