MISTER BANDERAS (3) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race last time out, finishing third and beaten only 2. 25 lengths over 7f at Delta Downs (Dirt). Has started two times at this course and distance and is yet to miss the placings. It doesn't get any easier but on his best form he is right in contention. MUNNINGS CATSLE (1) progressed nicely last time out to finish just a nose from the winner in second over 5½f at this track after being in contention on the turn. Finds a suitable race and can build on that solid recent effort. HESPER (4) finds it hard to win with just one success from 11 starts. Again tasted defeat last start when fourth over 5½f at this track, beaten 5. 5 lengths. In the right race and there is no reason he cannot get the major prize. CLASSICAL KNIGHT (7) was easily accounted for when seventh last start over 1m at this track, beaten 4 lengths after a good when resuming win at this track. Worth another chance.
