PASKETEE (10) is a promising type who hasn't raced since finishing 7 lengths away in fifth over 6f at this track (Dirt) on March 19. Has never been out of the placings when resuming from two tries. Has good early speed so should take up a forward position. Leading contender. BEAUDEAN (9) pushed forward last time and boxed on to finish 9 lengths away in second over 6½f at Delta Downs (Dirt). Should park just off the speed despite a difficult draw. Suitably placed so anticipating another big run. HALF WAY THERE (5) finished out of the money when fresh from a lay-off two starts back then was beaten 10 lengths when fifth in a 6½f contest at Delta Downs three-and-a-half weeks ago. Has the class to take care of this field. TORPEDO CHARLIE (11) is a progressive four-year-old gelding who resumes from a break of three months, his last appearance being a win over 5f at Evangeline Downs (Dirt) at his only run of that campaign. Has never been out of the placings when resuming from two tries. Should camp just off the leaders. Deserves respect on best figures.
