LULU'S MAGIC (4) has not appeared since she finished fifth over 5f at Louisiana Downs (Turf) on September 10. Has found the right race. DIAMOND COUNTRY (1) doesn't boast the best winning strike rate but ran a nice race when fresh from a lay-off last time out, finishing second and beaten only half a length over 5f at Delta Downs (Dirt) after being in the firing line on the turn. Likely improver with strong prospects. SECRET WINE (2) closed last campaign with back-to-back placings, the last of which was at Evangeline Downs six-and-a-half months ago. A bright return is expected. TALKABOUT (3) was out of the money two runs back then again missed the frame last start over 6½f at Delta Downs, beaten 5. 5 lengths into fourth. Likely improver with strong top-three prospects.
